Selling shoes, handbags, sundries and services, according to the Company policy.

Offering a professional standard of customer service to every customer who enters the Branch.

Understanding the Trades Description Act and its implications.

Advising customers on shoe fitting.

Advising customers on methods of shoe construction and materials used.

Having a good appreciation of stock and its selling features and advising customers on appropriate accessories to suit occasion and fashion look.

Advising customers on how best to take care of merchandise they buy by showing them appropriate care products.

Recording and checking stock accurately. Reporting stock shortages and requirements.

Careful handling of merchandise, maintaining cleanliness and layout of stock.

Assisting in general maintenance of Branch’s interior and exterior displays.

Assisting in Sale preparation and Stocktaking as directed and explained by Management.

Participating in individual and group staff training and Open Forums.

Maintaining a high standard of self-presentation and self-discipline and remaining calm and professional under pressure.

Carrying out reasonable instructions from Management.

Making a positive and reliable contribution to the whole Branch team effort.

Extending or adjusting working hours and assisting with any other duties in the Branch as directed by Management.

Displaying professional behaviour at all times and promoting and protecting the Company’s reputation.

Ensuring all necessary measures are taken to safeguard the confidentiality of Company information.

Following the Company IT & Use of social media Policy.

Helping to protect the security interests of the Branch/Department and its staff.

Understanding responsibilities under the Health & Safety at Work Act and ensure that the Company procedures are followed at all times.
