Slide Terms & Conditions
All participants must be 12+
Participants must be in good health and not affected by any medical problems, such as heart, back or neck problems, or recent operations which might be worsened by the experience.
All ticket holders that attend Brum’s Big Splash or any part of Birmingham Weekender do so at their own risk and the event organiser shall not be liable for any loss or damage other than death or personal injury arising from the organiser’s negligence.
Expectant mothers are unfortunately not allowed to ride.
Anybody suspected to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be refused entry.
Sensible clothing must be worn, to include covering of arms and legs for safety.
All jewellery must be removed prior to sliding.
Tickets cannot be cancelled, sold, exchanged, refunded, or transferred. To do so or to alter or deface any ticket will render it void. It is the ticket holder’s responsibility to check tickets, as mistakes cannot always be rectified.
The slide will not operate in extreme weather conditions.
We have the right to refuse participation on the day, if we feel the ticket holder does not comply with any of these rules or at the organiser’s discretion.
Filming and photographing will take place at the event. By taking part you give permission to be filmed and photographed.
The organiser accepts no responsibility for damage, loss or theft of any personal property that occurs whilst ticketholders are taking part.
Smoking, eating, drinking and the use of photographic and recording equipment or mobile phones is prohibited during your session time for safety reasons.
Brum’s Big Splash is not suitable for wheelchair uses for safety purposes
Bring some form of ID (eg debit card, driving licence, library card, etc) which must match the name on the ticket.
Slide Instructions
Participants use the slide at their own risk.
Participants must slide down headfirst on the lilo provided.
The slide operates with water and Ecover washing-up liquid.
Sliders must hold on to the lilo at all times.
To allow as many people as possible down the slide in one day, each participant can only have one go.
After sliding, participants must exit the landing area as quickly and safely as possible with guidance from the marshals and give back the lilo. No running.
What To Bring
Come with a friend to hold your possessions, whilst you slide – no space will be available for possessions and no possessions will be allowed on the slide.
Clothes or fancy dress you don't mind getting a little damp.
Towel – it’s unlikely you will get very wet, but you may get some splashes as the slide operates with a little water and Ecover washing-up liquid.
